At CKC Mittagong the children unleashed their creativity by moulding detailed play dough sculptures indoors and engineering impressive dirt castles outside in the fresh air. These hands-on activities allowed our young builders to explore different textures while developing their fine motor skills and spatial awareness through play. It was wonderful to see them collaborate, share ideas, and use their imaginations to transform simple materials into unique masterpieces.

At CKC Hill Top, as part of their Term Project, “Under the Sea,” the children explored an engaging under-the-sea sensory bin. The sensory experience included clay, wool, and a variety of smaller sensory items for the children to discover and pick out from the mini underwater environments. This hands-on activity encouraged curiosity, exploration, and imaginative play while supporting the children’s sensory development.
