🏏Cricket Incursion🏏

Today, students from Year 2-6 enjoyed getting active with Cricket Victoria during some 'Come 'n' Try' Cricket' activities, delivered by a team of qualified coaches, Nicolas and Peter from Cricket Victoria and some representatives from Mount Beauty United Cricket Club, Greg and Craig.

Our students had a fantastic time, some picking up a Cricket bat for the first time, others potentially our next Australian fast bowler.

We can not believe we are nearing the end of Term 3, already!!! We still have plenty of things happening over the next couple of weeks for our students.

We have everything crossed for some more snow. Please keep checking in on your Compass portal for updates regarding Wednesday's Cross Country Skiing Program.

We look forward to our student lead Monday morning assembly, hosted by our Student Representative Council (SRC)and on Friday we are excited for our 3/4 assembly presentation with Kathryn.

Our students have some great entries for this year Writers Competition.
Parents, please ensure you have signed consent and returned to your childs teacher Monday.
All entries due Monday!

Forms have been sent home over the past 2 weeks, have a dig around the bottom of those school bags. 😉

Today we had a very special past student for our cross country skiers.
PHIL BELLINGHAM!!!

Our students loved hearing about how he started skiing, what drew him to cross country skiing and his experience being the first Australian male to compete in Ski Mountaineering aka "Skimo"
Thanks Phil Bellingham for spending an afternoon with us and letting us look at your olympic gear and answering many questions.
It was an honour to hear about your adventures.
