Social Emotional Learning: You Can Do It! 🙂
This fortnight, our Social Emotional Learning (SEL) focus is "I am kind and I get along with my peers."

Students are learning the importance of building positive relationships and understanding how their actions and choices help create a happy and inclusive school community. Throughout the fortnight, students will explore why it is important to get along with others, identify the qualities of people who build positive friendships, and learn three key ways of thinking that help us work and play well together: Thinking First, Following Rules, and Accepting Everyone.

Students will also practice setting personal goals to strengthen their relationships with others.

By developing these important social skills, we are helping our students become kind, respectful, and confident members of our school community. 🌟🤝😊

🌟 Teachers will be keeping an eye out for students who are actively using their Getting Along Key. These students who are demonstrating these positive behaviours may earn an invitation to attend Dunkley Delights with our lovely principal next week! 🌟

We’re excited to announce that Orange Class had the highest attendance this week! Your commitment to being at school every day is making a wonderful difference in your learning!

Keep turning up! Remember, every day counts—and together, we can continue to improve whole school attendance. Let’s aim for even more classes to reach their attendance goals next week!

🌟 PBL Attendance Reward Day! 🌟

Our students have shown incredible resilience over the past few weeks with the wet weather and closed muddy fields. We are so proud of the positive way they have adapted and continued to make great choices at school.

To celebrate, all students who attend school tomorrow (Friday 29 May) will receive a cookie and a chocolate milk! 🍪🥛
Due to the pending weather forecasted as well, we invite all students to wear their pyjamas, dressing gown or Oodie to school. Please ensure students wear their school shoes or joggers.

We have also officially filled our white Dunkley bird feeder, meaning students have earned their next whole-school PBL reward! 🎉 Classes will enjoy some well-deserved tech time tomorrow as part of the celebration.

Thank you to our amazing students for continuing to show respect, responsibility, and resilience every day! What a super fun day to be at school!
