Calling all secret agents… your next mission has officially been assigned!

MISSION: SECRET AGENT DISCO
- Thursday 10th September (Week 9)
- 5:00pm – 7:00pm

Agents are encouraged to arrive in their best disguise… think black clothes, coats, sunglasses, ID badges and anything else worthy of an undercover operative! No fancy costume needed: black clothes + sunnies = mission ready!

There’ll be music, dancing and plenty of top-secret fun throughout the night! 🪩🎶

Student Council will also be selling a range of food and drinks on the night, including:
- Sausages on bread
- Cupcakes
- Lolly bags
- Soft drinks
- Poppers

Please note: Food and drink purchases will be CASH ONLY.

All money raised will go back towards Student Council, helping them continue to organise fun activities and events for our students

Start preparing your disguises, agents… we’ll see you next Thursday!

Our Prep students had so much fun practising their subitising skills with a fast-paced maths game! Each student was shown a subitised number and had to quickly find and sit on the chair with the matching numeral. The first time we played, it took the class over two minutes to find their seats, but on our second attempt with completely different numbers, they smashed their time and finished in under one minute! The students loved the challenge and were so excited to see how much faster they could recognise and match their numbers.

NO BUS TRANSPORT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!
Due to malicious vandalism, both our vehicles are non-operational.
Each time a vehicle is damaged, this takes funds away from learning focused supports.
Our 23 seater bus (big bus) is at the end of its lease and if there is continual damage done to this vehicle, sourcing a replacement vehicle will not occur and ALL school transports will need to cease permanently.

TOUCH FOOTBALL GALA DAY CHAMPIONS!

What. A. Day!

There are some school days that are just a little bit extra special and today was definitely one of them. Our Year 5/6 touch football team had an incredible day at the Touch Football Gala Day, playing 6 games, winning all 6 and finishing the day completely UNDEFEATED! Across the competition, these superstars scored an amazing 39 tries and walked away as the overall Gala Day Champions!

Of course, winning the competition was an amazing achievement, but today was about so much more than the final result. It was watching these kids run themselves into the ground for each other, celebrate every try like it was the first, pick each other up when they needed it and continually encourage one another from the sideline. They played with so much heart and represented our school beautifully.

It’s hard to put into words just how proud Miss Murray is of this group. Seeing all of their hard work come together, watching them play their hearts out for one another, and getting to share in their excitement at the end of the day made this one pretty special.

They earned every single one of those wins today, and they should be incredibly proud of what they achieved together.

39 tries. 6 wins. 0 losses. One very proud teacher.

Congratulations, champions! You were absolutely brilliant! A day we won’t be forgetting anytime soon 💛

STAFF vs STUDENTS TOUCH FOOTBALL GAME

As a warm-up for the Interschool touch football gala day this Thursday, our Year 5/6 team took on the teachers at first break on Monday. The staff put up a fight, but it wasn’t quite enough, with the students claiming a 3–2 victory! A fantastic effort from both teams, with plenty of great plays and a very close game right until the final whistle! Good luck to our team on Thursday — play hard, have fun and do us proud!
