A great turnout for the markets today. There’s an hour and a half to go!

Come on up and have a cuppa and a snack - I hear the food is delicious! And shop while you listen to some fabulous live music while you browse.

Thank you to all the amazing stallholders and everyone who braved the wet weather. The mountain weather let loose earlier but really good to have the markets inside the Hall!

Two (2) more sleeps until the Mt Mee Markets on Saturday, 2 May, from 8 am to 1 pm at the Mt Mee Public Hall, 1352 Mount Mee Road, Mount Mee. Remember, our stall holders are inside the hall, so come on in!

A reminder that parking is available to the left of the hall next to the school and across the road.

An update on the plants: Kev's Plants and Gifts include: anthuriums (in flower), ground orchids (not in flower), ferns and various other plants. There will be blank greeting cards with floral or landscape gloss photos. There will also be polished rocks (mainly agate from North Qld and petrified wood from Chinchilla, Qld). The rocks include ones for collection and others for possible jewellery.

What’s been happening at the Mount Mee Public Hall?

There have been some recent changes to this heritage building. A new pantry has been installed in the kitchen and some new items have been purchased.

The hall has been used for many activities over the years. It is available for bookings by hirers from all walks of life for many activities, from social and business events to workshops, classes and concerts.

A Melbourne Cup Day lunch event is being organised by the Mt Mee Sports Association on Tuesday, 4 November. Cost is $30 per person. Morning tea commences at 10:00am. Have you heard of Daniel Champagne?
The Mt Mee Hall was full of excitement this afternoon as those attending were entertained by the incredible music of Daniel Champagne in a family friendly concert. Every song and instrumental was met with silence by the audience and rousing applause as he finished. Wow, what a concert! As Daniel finished his last song he received a standing ovation! Daniel is a humble and talented young man who has so much to offer the world stage. Such a wonderful event for a heritage hall.
