DEADLY AUSTRALIANS

The "Deadly Australians" is a public awareness programme, educating Australian children about the dangers of the venomous wildlife that inhabit our suburban backyards, bush, beaches and sea.

🌟 CALLING OUR MINI MAKERS! 🌟

We have counted and recounted and we have one stall available at the Bushy Creek Makers’ Fair, and we’re thinking of our local kids and young people!

Sell something you’ve made, baked or grown: garden goodies, seedlings, flowers, cakes, cookies, paintings, jewellery, cards, crafty creations or weird little inventions.

Here are the rules:

🧡 You’ll share the Mini Makers stall with other young sellers.
🧡 You’ll need to commit to running it for a few hours over the weekend.
🧡 You must be comfortable handling money and serving customers.
🧡 A trusted adult from our community will be there to help at all times (this might be your mum or dad stepping up - hint hint) and can mind your goodies if you need to step away.

You don’t need enough stock to fill a whole table. Bring what you have and experience the fun of running a real market stall!

Interested? Send us a message with your Mini Maker’s name, age, what they’d like to sell and when they’re available.

In Julatten this Wednesday…

Natural disasters and other unexpected events can take a toll on mental health. The unique challenges that come with living in rural or remote areas can add additional stresses.

Community members are invited to a FREE Paint & Prepare workshop - participants will gain a deeper understanding of supports that are available in their area, practical tips to build resilience, and how creative outlets can support emotional processing and aid in recovery from life's challenges. 🎨🖌️

Participants will receive a paint by number kit and can work individually or as a team to complete their artwork.

This workshop is aimed at adults, however children are welcome to attend with adult supervision.

Spots are limited and registration is essential to secure your spot.

What’s On Week 9, Term 3, 2026…
Here we go - last two weeks before a well earned break.
Tomorrow we have Deadly Australians visiting at 9am, so make sure you set your alarms and get to school by 8:50am so you don’t miss any of it. Student Council are hosting their fundraiser for Epilepsy. Free Dress - Purple theme and golf coin donation.
