Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mums, grandmothers, carers, step mums, aunties, foster mums and mother figures in our Splash community.

Thank you for the early mornings, poolside cheers, warm towels, endless snacks, and the love and support you pour into your little swimmers every single week.

From first splashes to confident strokes, we know these moments are made possible because of you.

Today we celebrate all the women helping raise strong, safe and happy kids .. in and out of the water.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Splash 💙

Tiny swimmers. Big skills. 👶

In our baby classes, play is one of the most powerful ways little swimmers learn.

When babies reach for toys in the water, they’re doing much more than playing. They’re learning to track a moving object with their eyes, coordinate their hands and body, and confidently reach out and grab.

This simple activity helps develop:
• Hand/eye coordination
• Body awareness in the water
• Confidence moving toward an object
• The instinct to reach and hold on

Over time, this skill translates to something very important 👉 reaching for the pool edge, a floating aid, or an adult when they need support in the water.

By building these skills early, babies begin to understand how to interact with their environment in the pool and develop the foundations for water confidence and water safety.

At Splash-A-Bout Swim School, every activity in our baby classes is carefully designed to support early development, confidence and safety in the water.

Because learning through play is one of the best ways little swimmers grow.

Swimming… a gift for life.

Due to a recent system upgrade, our Splash-A-Bout Swim School portal address has changed.

✔️ Mark lesson absences
✔️ Book make-up lessons
✔️ Manage your enrolments and account details

We recommend saving the new link for easy access moving forward.

⚡️🌩 Lightning Detected 🌩⚡️

Pool at Mount morgan is closed and the centre will remain shut until 30 minutes after the last strike.

Storm Season Safety Policy:
At Splash, your safety is our top priority.

👉 When lightning is detected within 10km of the centre, all pools will be evacuated immediately.
👉 The centre will remain closed until 30 minutes after the last recorded lightning strike.

We know this can be inconvenient, but these precautions are in place to keep everyone safe during storm activity. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to protect our community.

👉 We hope to reopened from 3:23pm.

Another beautiful morning for a swim here at Mount Morgan Aquatic Centre.

As some of you may have seen or heard, 3 of our lifeguards are participating in the Starlight Super Swim this February.

We are 1 week in and currently sitting at:
Mikky: 10kms out of 32kms
Team Rachael: 3.35kms out of 10kms
Matilda: 3.75kms out of 20kms

If you are apart of our beautiful community and also participating in this great cause, we invite you to make yourself known at the pool. We would love to know how you're swimming journey is going and what made you decide to sign up.
