A great turn out this morning from our families to share in the dance celebration with Jari from Dance Curriculum - not only have our students enjoyed a week of learning the skills and knowledge of dance; but also engaging in dance and enjoying the learning with a fabulous mentor! Here are our Year 5 and 6's who started the concert for the whole school with determination and courage in front of a large audience. What a great way to finish the term at Mount Samson State School!

Congratulations to Carson and Harvey who recently competed at the regional touch football trials. It's great to see our Mount Samson students representing their district and competing at a higher level! Well done boys!

Congratulations to Hadley who recently competed in the 2026 Kokoda Challenge with his Mum Ellie. This was not the first time for Hadley in this event - so the challenge was ready to be made! We are proud to acknowledge his effort and achievement this year!

Great atmosphere, lots of smiles and great support from our families for the 2026 athletics carnivals at Mount Samson State School. Thank you to our staff and volunteers for making this event a highlight on our school calendar!

We've had our rehearsal - and our Mount Samson dancers are ready to perform tomorrow! Friday, 26th June from 9 a.m. families are welcome to join us in the main shed so we can showcase the learning with Jari from Dance Curriculum all this week. All classes from Prep to Year 6 will perform for families - we look forward to seeing you in the morning!

Our Term 2 celebration of learning was a beautiful time for our families to join their child for the afternoon in the classroom. We thank everyone who came up to share the learning journey together with us and talk about success and achievement from this term.

What an amazing day celebrating our young athletes and our wonderful school community! 💛
From exciting student events such as long jump, ball games and frisby 🏃‍♂️ to the always-entertaining parent & teacher fun race 😂, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

A big hit as always—the sausage sizzle 🌭—kept everyone energised and smiling! It was fantastic to see students, families, and staff come together, cheering each other on and making lasting memories. 🙌
