Travelling to Southeast Asia soon? There is currently an outbreak of measles in Indonesia.

Protect yourself and your family against measles by getting vaccinated before you travel. If you’re travelling to a high-risk area with a baby aged 6 to 18 months old, talk to your GP about whether you can get their free measles vaccines earlier than scheduled.

The measles vaccine is also free in NSW for anyone born during or after 1966 who hasn't already had two doses. Talk with your GP or pharmacist today to get protected! Please note they may charge a small fee to give the vaccine.

NSW Health has reported increases in whooping cough cases. Please keep your loved ones safe by knowing the symptons listed on the post below

Symptoms can include:
🤧 runny nose, sneezing or coughing bouts
🤒 a mild fever
😮‍💨 gasping breath which causes a 'whooping' sound.

The best protection against whooping cough is vaccination.

National Science Week is taking place from 10 - 18 August and is is Australia’s annual celebration of science and technology.

National Science Week is designed for everyone and provides an opportunity to acknowledge the contributions of Australian scientists’ to the world of knowledge. It also aims to encourage an interest in science pursuits among the general public, and to encourage younger people to become fascinated by the world we live in.

Mid-Western Regional Family Day Care are looking for qualified passionate Educators within the Mid-Western Regional Council area.
Are you an Educator with a Certificate III or higher early childhood qualification who is interested in opening up your own home-based education and care service?
Family Day Care Educators provide education and care from their home, caring for up to 7 children, maximum 4 non school-aged.
You can set your days and hours to work with your own family commitments.
You will receive training unique to FDC as well as ongoing support from our coordination unit.
