This time last year we were celebrating 100 years of Station 388.

We wanted to take the time to look back and once again thank everyone for helping us celebrate for the entire month of August 2024.

The whole town got involved and came out and supported us when we did a recreation of the original drill from when the station was formed with first 388 Captain CJ Latter.

The local businesses dressed in red and decorated their shops to help celebrate and share the history.

Former 388 legends supplying photos and stories to help us in putting together the timeline of the station and who paved the way to make it what it is today.

Susan and the Mullumbimby Museum for the support and feature at the museum, the Chamber of Commerce for their ongoing support.

The town of Mullum for all your kind words.

And of course, everyone who came on the day to the ceremony.

Even a year later we are all so proud of how it turned out and that we could pay tribute to the original crew and the ones who followed who set a high standard that we continue to strive for every day.

🚨 FIRE INCIDENT – MULLUMBIMBY 🚨
Location: Behind Mullumbimby Woolworths
Time: 20:22 12/07/25

Mullumbimby and Brunswick heads fire crews responded to a large fire involving plastic piping, with flames and explosions reaching approximately 20 metres into the air near Woolworths.

The blaze was safely extinguished, No further spread and damage to nearby properties .The area was rendered safe
