Expressions of Interest – Mundubbera 🏊‍♀️

HiTide Swim School is seeking Expressions of Interest for Lifeguards and potential Learn to Swim Instructors to join our team at Mundubbera Pool!

We are looking for reliable, flexible and enthusiastic people who are passionate about working in an aquatic environment and being part of a great team.

💦 Lifeguard & potential Learn to Swim opportunities
📍 Mundubbera
⏰ Weekday morning & afternoon/evening hours
🕰️ 25-40 hours a week
📅 Some weekend shifts available
💰 Above-award wages

We are looking for someone who is:
✔️ Reliable and flexible
✔️ Professional and hardworking
✔️ Friendly and approachable
✔️ Able to work well as part of a team
✔️ Committed to providing a safe and positive environment for swimmers

Essential:
🔹 Current Blue Card
🔹 Relevant lifeguard qualifications for lifeguard duties (training provided before start date)

Learn to Swim qualifications are highly desirable, however training opportunities may be available for the right person.

We know it's been a little chilly, but it is time to start planning for another fantastic season with HiTide Swim School! 🌊

Whether you’re introducing your little one to the water, building confidence, improving stroke technique, training with our squad, or joining our water fitness classes, we’d love to welcome you this season.

✔️ Learn to Swim (from 4 months to adults)
✔️ Mini Squad & Advanced Squad Training
✔️ Water Fitness Classes

And that’s a wrap on the 25/26 pool season!! Another hectic year of swimming, fitness and fun in the sun!

The season couldn’t have started off better with high spring temperatures the water was on point for the first dips in October, all carnivals were thoroughly enjoyed by hundreds of school kids, lessons are building more and more every year (which is fantastic to see so many parents value the importance of swimming), the fitness crew had some great laughs while working out with Amy and Kauri, both swim clubs saw fantastic numbers and admirable comradery and last but not least the team we have at HiTide went above and beyond as they always do to try and make an enjoyable visit for all those coming in. The seasons end hasn’t been as enjoyable as the start only due to some not so favourable swimming weather and a few bouts of sickness among staff and patrons, but still some great times all the same!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the communities of Mundubbera and Gayndah. After 8 years in this game we’re still loving it like the first day and can’t wait to see you all back in the water in spring!

From Ben, Amy and the HiTide family, have a safe and happy Easter break and cherish those small moments with loved ones.
