🟠🔵 Community Notice – Training Exercise 🔵🟠

On Wednesday night, Murchison SES members will be participating in a training exercise within the local area.

Members will be actively involved in search activities, setting up lighting, and establishing staging areas as part of the exercise.

You may notice SES vehicles, volunteers, lighting equipment, and increased activity during the evening. Please be advised that this is only a training exercise and there is no need for alarm.

Training exercises like these are essential in helping our volunteers maintain their skills and readiness to respond when our community needs us.

🧡 Happy Wear Orange Wednesday (WOW Day)! 🧡

Today we celebrate and thank the incredible volunteers of and our very own members who dedicate their time to helping our community when it matters most.

From storms and floods to rescues and community support, SES volunteers are there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — rain, hail or shine. 🚨

Whether you’re wearing orange today, giving a wave to your local volunteers, donating to your local unit, or thinking about joining the SES family, every bit of support means the world to our members.

We are incredibly proud of our SES members who took part in the ANZAC Day service, representing our unit with respect and dedication.

Standing alongside fellow emergency services and community members, their presence honoured the courage and sacrifice of those who have served, past and present.

It’s moments like these that highlight the strong values of commitment and service that our volunteers bring, not only in times of emergency but also in paying tribute to our shared history.

We’ll be out collecting for a great cause, and every dollar makes a difference — so if you can, dig deep and help us make it a big one for the community! 💛

Happy International Women’s Day! 🌸

Today we’re celebrating the two amazing women in our unit who bring so much to the team. From keeping things organised to always lending a hand, they both play a big part in making our unit what it is.

We’re lucky to have such strong, supportive women involved and our community is better for it.
