If you’re looking to provide food for pollinators in your garden this winter, you can’t go past this Showy Daisy-bush.

It bursts with white daisy flowers at the end of every stem, creating an important food source for insects during the cooler months.

Endemic to our region, you know it likes it here, growing locally amongst mallee woodlands and shrublands.

Why not give this one a try in your garden and look after the pollinators in your patch this winter.

People often tell us they didn’t know we have such a great range of clothes and accessories. 👜👡

At the back of the Brinkley ReUse Centre, you’ll find men’s, women’s and children’s clothes, shoes and accessories including handbags, hats and scarves.

If you look carefully, you might even find some vintage gems!

Our range changes all the time as we get new donations, so come for a browse and refresh your wardrobe.

Meet Michael – another of our dedicated volunteers who helps collect the donations we receive at the Brinkley Reuse Centre.

Michael has a great eye for items that can be recycled and, like the rest of our team, loves keeping things out of landfill.

Every year, millions of things that could be reused, repaired, or donated end up in landfill.

Clothes, furniture, electronics, toys and household goods are tossed out simply because they’re no longer wanted - not because they’re no longer useful.

We welcome donations of all kinds at the Brinkley ReUse Centre - as long as it’s working, in reasonable condition, clean and ready to go to a new home.

The Rural City of Murray Bridge is giving away 3000 native tube stock plants to residents of the Rural city of Murray Bridge🌱

Now in its fifth year running, this year will bring the total number of plants given away to an incredible 15,000. This achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the wonderful volunteers at the Community Nursery.

A wide variety of plants will be available:
- Trees
- Shrubs
- Bush foods
- Groundcovers
- Grasses

3000 plants of various species will be available to residents of the Rural City of Murray Bridge. Quantities will be allocated as per property size until stock runs out:

🏡 Properties under 500m² = 5 Plants
🏠 Properties over 500m² = 10 Plants

The Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board will be at the native plant giveaway
Come say hello, learn more about the Woody Meadow native plant trial, and pick up a free Woody Meadow plant (one per household, while stock lasts).

*Proof of address is required on the day for all plant collections.

While your there:
- The Brinkley ReUse Centre will be open - grab a coffee from the café and have a browse.
- The Murray Bridge City Lions Club will have a sausage sizzle and cold drinks available to purchase.

Looking for something fun to do with old friends – or an excuse to make new ones?

Join us for our Board Game Wednesdays at the Brinkley ReUse Centre.

Whatever your game, chances are you’ll find someone to challenge. Or take a look at our range of card and board games and try something new.

You can also grab a coffee (the good stuff from our espresso machine!) and cake and browse the centre for a bargain while you’re here.

Our sessions run from 11am and everyone is welcome.

What can I drop off?

We often get asked what people can donate at the Brinkley ReUse Centre.

The answer’s easy – just about anything!

Our aim is to repurpose and rehome things that are otherwise destined for landfill.

We accept furniture, electrical and white goods (in working order), garden equipment, building materials, bric-a-brac, retro items, collectables, books, clothes and so much more.

We’re located right next door to the Brinkley Waste and Recycling Facility, so lighten your load and drop off useful objects to us first.

The Reuse Centre will be taking a short break over the Easter long weekend 🐣🌼

The centre will be closed from Friday 3 April to Monday 6 April 2026, including Easter Saturday.
