Murwillumbah Cubs, together with older Scouts, Venturers, Parent Helpers and Adult Leaders ventured off to Qld Cuboree over the school holidays. Held at Baden-Powell Park in Samford, north of Brisbane, the youth members had an amazing time meeting new friends and testing their limits with a range of fun activities available. Archery, cycling, canoeing, badge-swapping, abseiling, water slide, bushwalking, an offsite day at Boondall Wetlands & Brownsea Water Activities Centre - there was something for everyone. For our youth members, this was their first time sleeping in "bell" tents with youth members from all across Queensland. They made some amazing new friendships and made memories to last a lifetime! Thank you to our amazing older youth members, parents helpers and leaders who came along and worked at the camp to make this such an amazing experience for the Cubs. Thank you to Queensland Scouts for inviting us to be a part of this amazing camp!

For the first time ever, we're taking part in the Scouts Victoria 2025 Monster Raffle. With 135 prizes totalling over $60,000, get in quick to secure your tickets before they're all sold out! Thanks to Alex and Adon from Civil Mining & Construction Pty Ltd who donated 2 brand new 3x3m gazebos to the Murwillumbah Scout Group last night. Part of the company's "Thirst for a Legacy" program. The donation is much appreciated and will come in very handy keeping our youth and adult members under cover at our camp this weekend. Thanks Alex and Aiden and Civil Mining & Construction Pty Ltd!!!
