Muttaburra Amateur Turf Club Muttaburra Amateur Turf Club Inc was established in 1919 and now races once a year in Mid August. This day is a family day with something for all ages to enjoy.

As well as racing, we have fashion parades, market day, jumping castle and lollie drops, show bags and novelty events for the children and adults. Fashions of the Field play an important part of the day. Muttaburra Amateur Turf Club shares with the community on the success of these events.

A huge shout-out to all of the amazing businesses and individuals who generously donated prizes for Pete’s Famous Monster Raffle! 💫

Our club is so fortunate to have an incredible committee member like Pete, who has been organising this biannual MONSTER RAFFLE for a number of years. His dedication and commitment to our club is truly inspiring, and he is always the first to put his hand up when there’s a job to be done. 👏

A massive thank you also goes to our army of ticket sellers who helped get those tickets out there, and of course, to everyone who purchased a ticket and supported our club. Your support means so much to us! ❤️

This year the club decided to donate 10% of the Calcutta prize pool to the Muttaburra Community Development Association 💫 A group that does so much for our community. The Main Event – The Horse Racing 🏇

We were very fortunate to have eight jockeys in attendance this year, along with full fields of horses for our five-race program, making for a fantastic day of racing.

We would like to acknowledge and thank everyone who worked behind the scenes to make our annual race day run so smoothly — our trainers, barrier attendants, starter, clerks of the course, video operators, race caller, officials, photographers and vet. Your hard work and dedication are greatly appreciated.

All in all, it was a fantastic day of racing here in the Centre of Queensland, and we thank everyone who came along and supported our race meeting.
