🎵✨ Thursdays are for music, creativity and connection.

All in Music is a welcoming and engaging program where participants can explore singing, movement, performance and self-expression in a supportive environment.

Whether you're stepping onto a stage for the first time or simply love being part of a creative group, this program is all about building confidence, developing new skills and having fun along the way.

Participants have opportunities to:
🎤 Develop vocal skills through speech and singing
🎭 Explore characterisation, movement and expression
🎶 Experiment with a range of musical instruments and equipment
🌟 Build confidence through performance experiences
🤝 Connect with others in a positive and encouraging environment

Every Thursday brings new opportunities to learn, create, laugh and shine.

💛 Coming very soon to Maleny Library

A curated exhibition from the Spiral studio will be on display this June, offering an early glimpse into the creative practice of artists ahead of a major showcase at Old Ambo Gallery in Nambour this September.

Featuring works by Kate, Will, Luke and Deb, this exhibition brings together a diverse and expressive collection that highlights each artist’s unique voice, process and way of working. From quiet, reflective pieces through to bold, intuitive works, it celebrates the breadth of creativity emerging from the Spiral studio.

While each artwork stands strongly on its own, together they reflect a shared studio environment where experimentation is encouraged, confidence is built, and individual artistic practice is supported to grow.

This June showing offers a focused opportunity to experience these works up close, providing a small window into the depth of practice developing within the studio ahead of the larger September exhibition in Nambour.

That September exhibition will present a broader body of work, offering a more expansive view of the artists’ evolving practices and the stories taking shape across the year.

🎡 We’re heading to the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show! 💛

This year, Spiral is proud to be helping more people get to and from the showgrounds through free park and ride shuttle transport operating across the event weekend.

Community events like the Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show should be something everyone can experience and enjoy, and we’re excited to support easier access to all the fun, connection, and atmosphere the show brings each year.

You’ll also find the Spiral team at the showgrounds across the weekend, so make sure to stop by and say hello.

We can’t wait to see the community come together for another great show. ✨

Some things grow quietly.
Friendships. Confidence. Community connection.
… and apparently, a truly ridiculous amount of turmeric. 🌱💛

Grant and Kyle have been hard at work digging through Spiral’s legendary turmeric stash, uncovering enough golden root to keep the kitchen busy for weeks to come.

The Tuesday Men’s Group is all about shared projects, good conversations, learning new things, and spending time alongside others in a way that feels relaxed, welcoming, and real.

From gardening and cooking to outings and community connection, there is always something happening, usually with a few laughs along the way.

Fresh air, good company, and a few new plants to care for 🌱🌿

Our Men’s Social Group visited Yandina Community Gardens, where they were generously gifted plants and seeds to help grow our herb and veggie gardens for upcoming cooking workshops.

There’s something special about getting your hands dirty, learning together, and watching things grow.

We’re now working on creating a thriving patio garden space and would love community support with donations of planters or potting mix. If you have anything to spare, we’d love to hear from you!

ANZAC Day is a time to pause and remember those who have served and sacrificed in times of war, conflict, and peacekeeping.

We honour their courage, their commitment, and the lives forever changed by their service.

We also hold in our thoughts the families, friends, and communities who have stood beside them, carrying both pride and loss in different ways.

Today is a moment for reflection and gratitude, for remembering what has been given, and what continues to be carried.
