This page is a family-friendly community page where we can come together and share our interest in, and passion for, early childhood learning and care. While we are very excited to hear from you, please be aware that we reserve the right to moderate this page as we see fit and remove any posts or material

We’re excited to announce that our Scholastic Book Fair has officially started tuesday, May 5th and its running for two weeks!

🌟 The books are already on display, so feel free to have a look during drop-off or pick-up. Orders can be placed starting May 5th.

There’s truly something for everyone:

📚✨ Scholastic Book Fair is Back! ✨📚
Goodstart: Nambour, City View Terrace is so excited to be hosting the Scholastic Book Fair again this year!
Our foyer has been transformed into a beautiful little book wonderland, filled with so many incredible stories for every interest 🌈 From favourites like Bluey, Stitch, and The Little Engine That Could, to funny reads like Dude, Be Nice! and magical adventures like Rory the Remarkable Dragon — there truly is something for everyone.
We’ve already seen lots of excitement from the children as they explore the displays, revisit familiar characters, and discover new stories 📖💛
Families are welcome to browse the collection in the foyer, and online ordering will begin from 5/5/26.
Every purchase helps us grow our centre library and foster a love of reading in our children 🥰

🐣 Easter Has Arrived in Pre‑Kindergarten! 🐣
Easter has come alive in our Pre‑Kindergarten room through a variety of fun and meaningful learning experiences 🌸
The children have been exploring sensory trays, practicing early numeracy by counting eggs, and learning about life cycles through discussions and hands‑on experiences. They’ve also been showing care and responsibility while looking after our chickens (handcrafted chickens), building empathy and understanding of living things 🐔
We’ve enjoyed Easter‑themed stories, creative artwork, and plenty of conversations that encouraged curiosity, kindness, and connection.
It has been wonderful to see the children so engaged, excited, and learning through play 💛

🌈 Harmony Day 🌈
Last week we celebrated Harmony Day through a range of age-appropriate experiences that encouraged inclusion, kindness, and respect for one another.
Our children explored diversity through painting, sensory trays, and creative role play, using small paper versions of themselves to represent who they are. We also engaged in conversations about kindness, fairness, and celebrating what makes us all unique.
It was lovely to see the children expressing themselves, listening to each other, and learning that our differences are something to celebrate ❤️
