Last Friday, our Principal, Ms Panaretos collaborated with Mrs Battiston (NHPS) and Dr Grace (FPVCPS) at the Mid Coast Valleys Principal Network meeting. Together, they shared ideas and focused on excellence in public education, quality teaching, and helping students in our beautiful Nambucca Valley reach aspirational goals. It’s inspiring to see our principals working together for the best outcomes for our school communities!

Our students had a fantastic day at the U16 Coffs Harbour All Schools Basketball Tournament yesterday! With an early start and a packed schedule, our three junior teams each played at least three games in a big day of basketball. It was also the largest group of basketballers we’ve taken in several years.

Our Year 7/8 team showed plenty of promise and potential for the future, while our Year 9 boys took on some tough Division 2 competition including St Columba and Coffs Harbour Christian College, continuing to grow as a cohesive and organised team. It’s been rewarding watching this group develop over the past three years, and we’re excited to see what they can do at the upcoming LNC High Schools Tournament in August.

A special congratulations to our girls team, who fought hard through some challenging early games before finishing the day in style with a Division 3 Grand Final win over Maclean!

Well done to all students for their effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the day. A BIG thank you to Ms Wilson for her organisation and inspiration for our basketball lovers!

A special thank you to Basketball NSW for covering our travel costs to today's event.🏀🏀
