🌺 ANZAC Day Commemoration Service 🌺

The Napoleons/Enfield Fire Brigade would like to share and support our friends in the community for this important ANZAC Day service.

Join us as we come together to honour and remember the courage, sacrifice, and service of our ANZACs.

🕑 Time: 2:00pm

Following the service, everyone is warmly invited to attend afternoon tea at:

This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to stand together, pay our respects, and reflect on the legacy of those who served.

🔥 FIRE DANGER PERIOD LIFTED 🔥

Great news for our community!

The Fire Danger Period will officially be lifted from 1:00am on 13 April 2026 for:
• Borough of Queenscliffe
• City of Greater Geelong
• Golden Plains Shire
• Surf Coast Shire

This means restrictions on burning will ease, but please remember — conditions can still be unpredictable.

⚠️ A few important reminders:
• Always check local conditions before lighting any fire
• Register your burn-offs where required
• Never leave a fire unattended
• Make sure you have adequate water and tools on hand

🔥🚒 WHAT A WAY TO FINISH THE DAY! 🚒🔥

An absolutely outstanding effort from all our junior teams at state today — we couldn’t be prouder of every single one of you 💪❤️

🏆 11–15 YEARS – GROUP A
What a performance!!
🥇 1st Overall Aggregate for the day with:
👉 3 x 1st places
👉 1 x 2nd place
👉 1 x 3rd place
An incredible display of skill, teamwork and composure — you guys absolutely dominated 👏

💪 11–15 YEARS – GROUP B
Finished 5th overall, with a great 3rd place in the mix.
The times you were putting down would have had you right up the top, but a few unlucky mishaps led to some disqualifications. That’s competition — and you’ll come back even stronger next time 👊

👏 11–13 YEARS
Didn’t place this year, but for your first ever crack at state, you should be seriously proud. You’ve learnt so much and built a solid foundation — watch this space next year! 🔥

🏅 OVERALL RESULT
Napoleons / Enfield finished 🥈 2nd overall brigade — an unreal achievement across the board!

From start to finish, the effort, teamwork and spirit shown by everyone has been nothing short of incredible.

🚒🔥 UPDATE OUR JUNIORS ARE ON FIRE AT STATE! 🔥🚒

What an unbelievable effort from our young legends today — absolutely smashing it on the big stage! 💪

💥 11–15 YEARS – GROUP A
These superstars have just SMASHED the record for tanker priming & pumping 🤯👏
And to top it off… they’re currently sitting 🥇 1st overall, leading the aggregate by 8 points!

💥 11–15 YEARS – GROUP B
Holding strong in 4th place — right in the mix and pushing hard every run 💪

💥 11–13 YEARS
Not on the podium just yet, but for their first ever state finals, they are doing an absolutely fantastic job and making us all proud 👏

This is what it’s all about — teamwork, determination, and giving it everything you’ve got ❤️

🔥 WHAT A DAY FOR NAPOLEONS / ENFIELD! 🔥

What an absolutely terrific day out on the track today with our senior men’s and women’s teams putting in a massive effort 💪

We saw some great results across the board, with a couple of solid placings — but the standout performance of the day goes to our incredible ladies team, taking out 🥉 3rd place in the Ladies Aggregate! 👏👏👏

These legends truly left it all out there. Battling through:
👉 Torn muscles
👉 Bruises everywhere
👉 Bad backs
👉 And even a possible broken rib 🤦‍♂️

That’s the kind of grit, determination, and team spirit that makes our brigade so bloody proud ❤️🚒

Now it’s time to shift the spotlight…

Today, our incredible Napoleons/Enfield Fire Brigade ladies team are hitting the track at the State Finals — and they are absolutely giving it everything! 💪🚒

This video is just a glimpse of the hard work, training, and determination these legends have put in to get here. We couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve achieved 👏

Tomorrow it’s the turn of our junior teams to take on the State Finals!

These young superstars have been training just as hard and are ready to give it their all — and we’d love to see as many friendly faces there as possible supporting them 🙌

🔥 200,000 HOURS. VOLUNTEERS. ONE INCREDIBLE EFFORT. 🔥

Victoria’s CFA volunteers have clocked over 200,000 hours this summer, responding to more than 81,000 fires and incidents across the state.

That’s not just a number… that’s missed family dinners, long nights, early mornings, and everyday people stepping up when it matters most.

Right here in our own community, the members of the Napoleons/Enfield Fire Brigade are part of that effort — protecting lives, homes, and our region whenever the call comes. 🚒

We’re incredibly proud of our volunteers and deeply grateful to the families, employers, and community members who support them behind the scenes.

👏 To every CFA volunteer across Victoria — thank you for your dedication, your sacrifice, and your commitment to keeping us safe.

🚒🔥 WHAT A DAY FOR NAPOLEONS / ENFIELD! 🔥🚒

How good is this crew! Just look at that haul of trophies 🏆💪 — an absolutely massive effort from all our members today at the District 15 VFBV Championships held at the Lexton Recreation Reserve with the group smashing record times left, right and centre.

We couldn’t be prouder of every single one of you 👏

🏆 Results from the day:
• Seniors Aggregate – Drew for 1st, finished 2nd on countback (so close!)
• Ladies Seniors Aggregate – 3rd place and absolutely smashed it 💥
• 11–15 Years Aggregate – 🥇 1ST PLACE – completely dominant performance!
• 11–13 Years Aggregate – Didn’t place, but for their first year running, they did an absolute ripper job 👊

This is what community, commitment, and teamwork looks like ❤️💛

Today’s the day, and we need YOU behind us! 💪

Our dedicated Junior and Senior Brigade Teams are gearing up to compete in the District 15 VFBV Championships, kicking off from 9:00AM at the Lexton Recreation Reserve.

This is a huge day for our brigade – months of training, teamwork, and commitment all come down to today giving District 15 a taste of what we can do before the State finals next week. And nothing fires our crews up more than seeing our community on the sidelines cheering us on! 🙌

⭐ SPECIAL MOMENT FOR OUR BRIGADE ⭐
This year marks a massive milestone… for the first time EVER, Napoleons/Enfield will proudly field an ALL LADIES SENIOR TEAM! 💥🔥
An incredible achievement and a testament to the strength, skill, and dedication of the women in our brigade. We couldn’t be prouder!

🚨🔥 TOTAL FIRE BAN – TOMORROW 🔥🚨
Napoleons / Enfield & Surrounding District

Tomorrow has been declared a Total Fire Ban across Central District.

These are serious fire conditions. If a fire starts, it can spread quickly and become uncontrollable in minutes.

⚠️ What This Means:
• No burning off
• No campfires or solid fuel BBQs
• No welding or grinding outdoors
• No machinery use that may cause sparks
• No fireworks

Even simple activities can start a fire in these conditions.

🔥 Conditions Expected:

• Hot temperatures
• Dry fuels across our landscape
• Winds that can rapidly change direction
• Fires capable of fast spread and long spotting

✅ What You Should Do:

✔ Review your Bushfire Survival Plan
✔ Ensure your property is fire ready
✔ Clear gutters and remove flammable materials
✔ Monitor conditions via the VicEmergency app
✔ Have a plan for pets, livestock and family

If a fire starts and you are not fully prepared, leave early. Do not wait for an emergency warning.

Our volunteers will be on standby, but we rely on the community to do the right thing.

🔥 JUNIORS GET FIRED UP! 🔥

A huge thank you to the Golden Plains Times for shining a light on our incredible junior members and the Napoleons/Enfield Fire Brigade community 💛❤️

Seeing our young members featured on the front page and inside the paper is something we’re extremely proud of. These kids are putting in the hard work, turning up to training, building skills, learning teamwork and preparing for the upcoming championships — but more importantly, they’re learning what it means to serve their community.

Well done to all our junior members 👏
You are the future of our brigade, and you represent everything that’s great about community spirit.

To our senior members and mentors who give up their time to train and guide these young legends — thank you. And to the families who support them every step of the way, we appreciate you more than you know.
