Narellan Rural Fire Brigade is a Volunteer fire station in the Macarthur Zone.

Earlier today our crew attended a grass fire on Camden Valley Way at Catherine Field. Also in attendance was Catherine Field Rural Fire Brigade

The fire has since been contained and the road reopened.

Please report any unattended fires to 000.

🚒 JOIN NARELLAN RFS - RECRUITING FOR FIRE SEASON 2026-2027 🚒

We’re looking for motivated people to join the Narellan Rural Fire Brigade and be part of a team that protects our community during bushfires, structure fires, storms, and other emergencies.

Do you have:
✅ A desire to learn and maintain new skills
✅ Availability during weekday daytime hours (9am-5pm)
✅ A current driver’s licence
✅ Aged 18 years or older
✅ Ability to pass a police check

No previous firefighting experience is required. We provide all training, equipment, and ongoing development opportunities.

Whether you’re looking for a new challenge, want to give back to the community, or are interested in emergency services, we’d love to hear from you.

Crews from Narellan RFS have returned to station after attending the fire at The Store Menangle. Fire Fighters worked for a number of hours in Breathing Apparatus to bring the fire under control.

🔥 CONTROLLED PILE BURN NOTICE 🔥

Tomorrow (16th), if you spot smoke around the Camden Bypass Bridge and immediately think:
“Geez, someone should call the Firies!” 🚒

Please don’t… because awkwardly… it’s us 🤣

We’ll be conducting pile burning operations in the area, so yes:
✅ There will be smoke
✅ There will be fire trucks
✅ There will probably be one firefighter standing around with a rake looking important

Everything is fully controlled and supervised, so there’s no need to call 000, we promise we’ve already beaten you to it 😂

We recently visited Roncut Builders Supplies thank them for their generous donation to out brigade. The donation will assist us to purchase equipment for out station.

Earlier this morning our crew, along with Fire and Rescue Horningsea Park attended a truck fire at Gregory Road Leppington.

We are Bunnings today until 4pm. Come down and say hi and grab a snag 🚒

We are down at Camden Show today until late with a large variety of RFS appliances on display.

This is a great opportunity to come and say hi and show kids (big and small!) through the truck.

Our members will also be participating in a live fire show in the main arena tonight. Check program times for more details.

Membership joining information will also be available so if you have been thinking of joining now is the time 🚒

Our crews are currently on scene at a house fire in Gregory Hills.

Upon arrival two firefighters in BA forced entry and removed burning food from the kitchen and ventilated the property.

Always ensure you turn off cooking appliances when going out.

Also one scene with Fire and Rescue NSW Station 095 Oran Park
