Narembeen Community Resource Centre We also deliver services and information on behalf of Medicare, the ATO and Centrelink.

The Narembeen CRC provides capacity building specifically in education and training, access to information technology, printing and copy support, graphic design, secretarial services, visitor information, support and services to community groups, printing of the Fencepost, agricultural and cultural workshops, venue hire and unemployment services.

🚙 Narembeen is launching the 2026 Dirt N Dust Run! 🚙

We are excited to welcome the Dirt N Dust Run, organised by Greater Bunbury Rotary, to Narembeen on Friday 9 October as we come together during WA Mental Health Week.

The Dirt N Dust Run is five days of mystery miles, dusty WA roads, great company and fundraising for mental health in regional communities — and this year, the journey starts right here in Narembeen!

We are proud to partner with Dirt N Dust, along with Elders and Blue Tree Project, for an afternoon of activities, meaningful conversations, community connection and plenty of fun.

Come along to meet the Dirt N Dust participants, join in the activities, catch up with your community and bid in the charity auction, all while supporting an important cause.

🌟 2027 Citizen of the Year Nominations Are Now Open! 🌟

Do you know someone who makes a real difference in our community?

The Shire is now accepting nominations for the 2027 Citizen of the Year Awards, recognising individuals who make an outstanding contribution to our town through service, leadership, volunteerism, and community involvement.

Award categories include:
⭐ Junior Citizen of the Year
⭐ Community Citizen of the Year
⭐ Senior Citizen of the Year
⭐ Active Citizen of the Year

These awards celebrate the people whose dedication and efforts help strengthen our community, support local initiatives, and improve the lives of others.

♻️ Cash for Containers is Coming to Narembeen! ♻️

Great news! A Containers for Change Drop & Go site will soon be available in Narembeen, making it easier than ever to recycle eligible drink containers and earn a refund.

✅ Receive your refund directly into your bank account
✅ Support a local group or charity by donating your refund
✅ Help keep our community clean and reduce waste

How it works:

Sign up for a member number at containersforchange.com.au/wa
Purchase a reusable collection bag from the Narembeen CRC for $1.00, or use your own sturdy bags/boxes.
Add your name, phone number and member number to the bag.
Drop your containers into the Drop & Go container on Latham Road.
Your containers will be counted, and your refund paid directly into your nominated bank account.

Reusable bags purchased from the CRC will be returned to you for future use and can last for many collections when cared for properly.

Keep an eye out for more details, including the official opening date!
