Plenty of fish coming in to the 12 Month Length Only Competition as it ends its second month of this years comp.
Salmon have been by far and away the mainstay, both in Wagonga Inlet and off the local beaches but Mulloway, Sharks, Snapper and the Winter favourites, Luderick and Trivially, have kept members busy.
Great to see members out fishing in this glorious Winter weather we’re experiencing.
Mallacoota Outing is confirmed as Monday, 19 October to Friday, 23 October so let’s have a great week with lots of members down there.

Members Tony Dawson and Simon Tattersall had a day out in Wagonga Inlet on the Australian Salmon, which are feeding frantically on Pilchards.
Getting up to 60 cms in length, the boys had a great day, keeping a few for the smoker and enjoying a few laughs.
Pictured is Simon and a few of the fish.

Another Junior Fishing day was held today, Sunday 9 August, from Narooma Sport and Gamefishing Clubs clubhouse.
15 Juniors fished from the local jetties, Kayden’s tinnie and out of one of Mals BBQ boats, catching a variety of fish.
Salmon in Wagonga Inlet continue to be caught and today was no exception with the ‘Juniors’ catching several, keeping some and releasing others.
From the two boats, a Snapper, some Gurnard and Salmon were also captured.
Floating baits were the go to and hopefully, the Juniors have learnt this deadly method of catching fish.
Big thanks to Ross and Stephanie for their continued efforts in running these mornings.
Well done Juniors, your fish are now entered in our Annual 12 Month Length Only Competition.
