Narrabri Fire & Rescue assisting the local and surrounding communities. We are trained in a wide range of fields including Structural Firefighting, Grass and Bushland Firefighting, Rescue, Hazourdous Materials (HAZMAT) and Remote Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS)

We are a 3 Appliance station with a Type 2 Urban CAFS Pumper (CP399), 4x4 Class 1 Composite (C399) and a Intermediate Hazardous Material

s (HAZMAT) Van (H399). We are 1 of the 3 Intermediate Hazmat stations in our zone area (Regional North 3) which extends our coverage as far north to the QLD border. We assist the Ambulance Service of NSW with medical incidents as well as NSW SES with their role with Storm and Tempest and NSW Police Force where requested.

🚨 Bohena Creek (south of Narrabri): The Newell Highway is closed in both directions between Narrabri and Coonabarabran due to a B Double and car crash.

🔄 Motorists are being diverted via the Kamilaroi Highway and the Oxley Highway in both directions. Allow extra travel time.
