Sorry but this is a grumble post....

I currently have some VERY HARD working tradies here at the house. Unfortunately within the last hour or so someone has been here (maybe to visit the library I'm not sure) but some tools and a battery have been taken from near the tradies vehicle.

If anyone who has stopped in saw anything please let me know. Or- keep an ear out for any suspects.

STRAWBERRY PLANTS!!!

If you need some strawberry plants I have just placed a heap of baby plants by my letterbox.
Please come and take some if you need - but only take what you can use and let many people enjoy these :)

I will have more in the coming weeks so if I run out msg me if you want any :)

Sorry I haven't been posting much lately. Unfortunately my health has been pretty poor. Despite this the Library is open :) :)

On fine days the extra trolley's are usually out
The fridges are always accessible.
Currently the filing cabinet which holds food is quite well stocked (thanks to generous locals). The fresh food crate is empty though.

I have just put together a little tub of Easter books :)

OREGANO

I have just put out a bucket of oregano. I have HEAPS more.
Please come and take as much as you need :)

There are bags in the top drawer of the filing cabinet or in the library if you need some.

The Library is open now - beat the heat and get in early - then hide away in the cool with a book, puzzle or DVD.

A new street library in Traralgon :) Please support it if you are in the area :)

With artwork like this the Gotta Read ‘Em All Street Library in Traralgon, Victoria, is sure to be successful in enticing the locals - particularly the Pokemon-loving community - to check out its contents.

“I love reading and I love to share that with people,” says Cathlyn. “And because I also enjoy Pokemon, we named the library to fit with a Pokemon theme.”

As someone who works in a public library, Cathlyn understands the importance of making books and reading accessible. “We are near a primary school,” she explains. “So I plan to keep it stocked with mainly junior fiction and picture books. But I will happily accept donations of any kind from those who wish to swap a book for a book!”

What a lovely day- Not too hot or cold - and very little wind. A great day to visit the library.

I have put out plenty of games and activities for kids and teens.

The fresh food tub has been very popular in the last week - but is almost empty. If anyone has excess fruit/veggies etc please drop them off.

The herb garden area has lots of yummy goodness - please feel free to get some if you need. There are scissors and small bags in the filing cabinet.
If you look carefully you may even find some strawberries :)

Please remember to sign the visitors book. If you have any requests you can write them in there too.
