🎉 The transformation of Gosford's waterfront is officially underway! 🎉

We welcome the Minns Labor Government's $41M investment to revitalise the waterfront, one of the Central Coast's most stunning natural assets. We're proud to play a leading role in this important project.

With $8.5M already allocated to the waterfront, today’s announcement builds upon our commitment to enhance the site and create community benefits. Here's what's coming:

✅ A new waterfront café
✅ A new 1km pathway through Brisbane Water connecting Point Clare to Gosford
✅ Enhanced public spaces along the waterfront from Grahame Park to the Gosford Scout Hall

This investment is the result of genuine community input: nearly 3,500 submissions helped shape this vision, and it shows. We can't wait to help bring it to life!

Have you spotted the floating barge in Gosford’s Brisbane Water? 💦 We’re planning an improved shared path connection from Point Clare to the Gosford CBD, and investigations are underway to help us understand how this could be achieved.

The barge will spend around 3 weeks testing the seabed, and will not include any permanent construction.

These investigation works are part of the Gosford Waterfront project being delivered by HCCDC on behalf of NSW Government.

Honeysuckle NSW has really has evolved! From its early days as an arrival point for new immigrants, to a shipping port, wharf, railway yards – and now a thriving harbourside precinct.

Transport for NSW has unveiled plans for upgrades to Cockle Creek Station in Lake Macquarie! With potential upgrades including better pedestrian and vehicle access, safety improvements and a Lake Road crossing, these plans could have a big impact on future growth in the area.

The Station Newcastle's next chapter is on track! 🎉 Ashbridge Capital has been selected to lead restoration and renewal of The Station’s heritage buildings and bring exciting new attractions to the site including:

🥗 restaurant and café dining
👜 specialty retail
✨ a new multi-purpose function room
🛏️ boutique short-stay accommodation
🎶 outdoor events such as markets, live music, charity events and family friendly activities.

We’ve loved being part of The Station’s journey since 2018, and look forward to seeing it enjoyed by locals and visitors for many decades to come.

🎊 Pop-up retail and events will continue as usual throughout 2026 while planning progresses.

🛠️ Restoration works and new venue fit-outs are expected to begin in 2027, subject to approvals.

You may have spotted this funky looking structure on the waterfront at Gosford this month! This smart street furniture was co-designed with women and girls and aims to create a welcoming spot to rest and recharge, while helping us understand how the community uses the public space in the area.

We’re pleased to support this trial project as part of Transport for NSW's Safer Cities program. It provides seating, shade and lighting, as well as device charging stations, helping keep the community connected and more confident along the waterfront. It also uses data-capture technology to count the number of people using the space. No identifying information is captured.

This temporary recharge spot will be up until mid-April. Try it for yourself on the Gosford waterfront near the boat ramp car park!
