Over the past 30 years Sicada Fire & Safety has grown from humble beginnings and established itself as a leader in the fire safety industry, particularly within the resources and marine sectors.

In line with our strategic plan, designed to take the company to the next level, with effect from 3 April 2023 Sicada Fire & Safety has been acquired by the ARA Group, an organisation with a turnover of $800million and a staff of 3,500 across Australia and New Zealand.

Now with the backing of such a large organisation and a strategy for growth designed to deliver improved outcomes these are exciting times for the Sicada team and our customers.

Fire compliance is more than protection of assets, it’s potentially about saving lives. Boat fires can spread quickly and marine fire safety compliance checks are thorough. Every piece of fire safety equipment is tested and items of safety gear/clothing checked in detail before getting the “approved" sticker.
