22 July 2026 WORK STARTED TODAY on the Phillip Island Bridge rehabilitation project.
The 50 million dollar project will ensure the bridge is structurally safe for public use well into the future.
●NO INTERUPTION to Passenger Vehicles, Local Delivery Trucks
or Emergency Vehicles.
●NO INTERUPTION to Maritime Operators, current access to the shipping channels & Marine Vessel lanes underneath the bridge continues with full access.
●RESTRICTIONS: From Monday 3rd August 2026 there will be a 62.5 tonne mass limit applicable to heavy vehicles crossing the bridge. *this restriction is expected to continue into late 2026
