ANZAC Day closure

Noarlunga Recreation Centre will be closed on ANZAC Day, Saturday 25 April.

As a result, our Saturday roller skating session will also not be taking place on this day.

The centre will reopen for normal operating hours on Sunday 26 April.

🐰 Easter Long Weekend Closure 🐣

Please note that Noarlunga Recreation Centre will be closed over the Easter long weekend on the following days:

📅 Friday 3 April
📅 Saturday 4 April
📅 Sunday 5 April
📅 Monday 6 April

We will reopen as normal on Tuesday.

🚧 Here’s a behind-the-scenes, sneak peek at the Noarlunga Aquatic Centre progress.

The refurbishment is well underway:

✅ most of the new roofing has been completed, with only the lower roof remaining
✅ a new acoustic ceiling has been installed in the pool hall
✅ new pool filters have arrived on site
✅ scaffolding has now been removed from the pool hall
✅ work has started on upgrading the family change area
✅ electrical upgrades are continuing throughout the facility
✅ replacing the gas pool heating with a new electrical system to reduce emissions
✅ concrete works are underway for the new pool separation and accessibility ramp
✅ installation of the new pool liner has begun (in the photos, the pool is being prepared for the liner to be installed)
✅ new double-glazed windows have been installed to improve energy efficiency and comfort.

Soon we will also start work to refurbish the spa and sauna, upgrade the reception and café area, finish a new first aid room and complete external landscaping around the centre.

We can’t wait to welcome you back next summer! 💦
In the meantime, the Recreation Centre next door remains open.
