• There will be some flooding near the river and creeks.
• Some roads could be flooded or impassable
• Very heavy rain will make it dangerous to drive.
What you should do

• Tell friends, family and neighbours in the area.
• Decide what you will do if flooding starts.
• Find out how to get ready for a flood at qfes.qld.gov.au/prepare/flooding
• Get and fill sandbags in case you need to block doors and stop water getting inside.
• Stay out of rivers, creeks and flood water.
• If flooding starts, do not drive unless you have to.
If you find it hard to move quickly
• Start getting ready now in case the flood gets worse and you need to leave:
• Pack a bag with enough clothes for Three days, important documents (like identification, insurance papers and passports), medicine, cash and keys.
• Call your support service, a family member or a friend to organise transport if the flood gets worse and you need to leave.
• Leaving early is safer than waiting.
If you are camping or caravanning
• Start packing up your campsite.
• Ask the campground owners whether the site floods.
• Check water levels and warning updates through the night.
• Be ready to move people, pets, camping gear and vehicles to higher ground if it starts to flood.
If you have livestock
• Move livestock to higher ground.
• Block access to low-lying paddocks or other places near creeks and rivers.
• Provide lots of food and clean water in a safe place away from creeks and rivers.
