So not today's photo but unfortunately the river has risen and our boats are back on the water. If you are stranded and needing a lift home, please text Jake on 0413 469 979 with name, how many people and how much luggage and we'll start trying to organise trips to get people home.

Afternoon everyone
We've had a few requests about helping people across the Norman River recently, unfortunately at the moment the water is too shallow for our boats to make it to allow us to do this. With any hope the Norman keeps dropping and opens back up for everyone. If it unfortunately gets more rain and rises up again we will let people know when we can assist.
Cheers

Today saw us down at Broadwater Station helping the guys sand bagging and raising their levy walls a bit higher again. The crew at Broadwater built their levy based off the 2019 floods and added an extra 300mm on top. This was broken and saw them using machinery to raise them higher again before needing again to sandbag the wall in order to keep out the waters.

On our way to Karumba today to get some some first hand intel on what's happening in the area and to prepare equipment. You might see a drone in the air collecting footage and if you see any of the volunteers around in Orange feel free to let us know of any concerns so we can plan the best way to assist people.
