North Adelaide is gearing up for one of the year’s most anticipated motoring events as the 2025 Shannons Adelaide Rally Finale takes over O’Connell Street on Sunday, 23 November 2025. Known for its thrilling atmosphere and stunning display of rally, classic, and exotic cars, the finale marks the official close of the multi-day rally and brings motorsport excitement right into the heart of the city.
The action kicks off at 12:30 pm and runs through to 8:30 pm, transforming O’Connell Street into a buzzing hub of motorsport and community festivities. The event will feature around 450 cars from across the Adelaide Rally, including competition vehicles, rare classics, and supercars, all converging for the traditional podium presentations and public celebrations.
Crowds are expected to be massive, with previous events drawing thousands of spectators keen to get close to the cars, meet the drivers, and soak in the festival vibe. Beyond the motorsport action, the day promises live entertainment, food and beverage offerings from local businesses, and family-friendly activities.
To make way for the festivities, O’Connell Street (from Archer Street to Tynte Street), parts of Tynte Street, and several surrounding roads will be closed to traffic from midday until late evening. On-street parking in these areas will be restricted with “No Stopping / Tow Away” zones in place. While vehicle access will be limited, pedestrian access along footpaths will remain open, and emergency services will maintain designated routes throughout the closure period.
The Adelaide Rally Finale has become a signature event for the city, offering locals and visitors a rare chance to experience motorsport up close while celebrating South Australia’s vibrant car culture. With its mix of high-performance vehicles, community spirit, and city atmosphere, the 2025 finale promises to be bigger and better than ever.
