North Eton State School North Eton State School is a small school situated in the Pioneer Valley that provides quality education for students in Prep-Year 6.

North Eton State School is a small school situated approximately 35 kilometres west of Mackay in Queensland. This gorgeous little school caters for students from Prep to Year 6. The picturesque setting in the Pioneer Valley amongst blue mountains and green canefields gives the school a tranquil feel which makes learning in this environment calm and nurturing.

Week 9 is shaping up to be a busy one, with our PV Athletics Carnival on Wednesday and Ellie competing in the 1500m on Monday. Good luck, Ellie! 🏃‍♀️💚💛

🏃‍♂️ Athletics Carnival Reminder
Students attending the PV Athletics Carnival at Mirani State High School on Wednesday are asked to please make their way to the Small Schools tent upon arrival and check in with Ms Newton. Team shirts will be sent home on Tuesday.

A reminder that Thursday is the Mackay Show Holiday, and we look forward to seeing families at Parade on Friday at 8:30am.

Our students have been working hard to earn tokens through positive behaviour, effort and learning. On Tuesday 23rd June, it’s time to cash them in at our very own NESS Show!

With a jumping castle, sideshow alley, prize wall and complimentary food, it’s sure to be a fantastic day of fun and celebration.

🚧 School Painting Works Underway! 🎨

B Block is getting a fresh new look! Painting works have now commenced and scaffolding has been erected around the building.

For the safety of students, staff and visitors, please be aware that some areas have been temporarily blocked off while the works are taking place. We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as these improvements are completed.

📍 Temporary Changes:
• Students will now eat at the tables under the Admin Building.
• The student fridge remains accessible, however it has been moved to a slightly different location.
• The tuckshop remains accessible; students are reminded not to gather in this area unless they are collecting food.
• Years 3–6 students are asked to place their school bags under the Admin Building.

Thank you for your understanding as we work to improve our learning environment for all students! 💚💛

🌱🎨 Garden Safety Guardians Poster Competition Winners! 🎨🌱

Congratulations to Pazlee, Jessie, Paige and Bonnee on being selected as the winners of our Garden Safety Guardians Poster Competition! Their creative posters did a fantastic job promoting safe and responsible behaviours in our school gardens.

A big thank you to Helena, our Pick of the Crop Regional Coordinator, for taking on the very difficult task of choosing the winners from so many wonderful entries.

Keep an eye out around our school gardens—you’ll soon see the winning posters proudly displayed, helping remind everyone how to stay safe while we learn, grow and give together! 🌿🍓🥕💚
