🍳On Friday, we had the chance to show our appreciation at our Father’s Day BBQ Breakfast, as part of The Fathering Project initiative. With the BBQ sizzling and the sun shining, it was lovely to see dads enjoying breakfast, catching up with one another and spending some special time with their children at school.

💛💙A big thank you to Mrs Murdoch and Mrs Turra for putting together such a sizzling event, the Uniting OSCH for the delicious brownies, our talented cooks and teacher volunteers, and our generous raffle prize sponsors:

With 16 finalists representing schools from across the area, we are incredibly proud of each student for demonstrating the confidence, courage, clarity and communication skills it takes to be a successful public speaker. 🌟

🪄🎼On Tuesday, our school struck a chord of creativity as we celebrated Book Week 2026 and embraced the harmonious “Symphony of Stories.” Our parade was a musical medley of colours and costumes, as favourite book characters came to life.

📖The crescendo of our celebration was Library on the Lawn, where families composed magical moments together, sharing stories and enjoying sweet baked treats in perfect harmony. 🏆Congratulations to all the winners of our colouring competitions!

❤️A huge thank you to all our students and parents for the effort and enthusiasm that helped make our parade sing with colour.

👏A standing ovation to our Librarian, Mrs Geraghty, for conducting such a memorable performance and making reading a true celebration!🎉 📚🪄✨

Purple power for kindness! 💜
As part of Bullying No Way Week, students and teachers from K-6 proudly wore purple to support Pop of Purple Day. Throughout the week, students learnt how kindness, inclusion, and small acts can make a big impact. They discovered how their words and actions matter, and what it means to be an upstander - reporting bullying to teachers and supporting friends who need help. If bullying happens, students know to reach out to teachers, Kids Helpline, Headspace, or eSafety. Together, they're building a kinder, safer community where everyone belongs. 💜 Bullying No Way
