Our Apple Tree mentioned last night on Gardening Australia. Didn’t see it - hope it covered the whole history and not just the last part.

Transition Darebin had a long involvement with the Apple tree.

Sorry to be the passer on of bad news but some very sad news has come to me.Louise Tinney has passed away suddenly.

She was a stalwart defender of the Apple Tree garden and also of the St Georges road plantings.

It is fitting that there will be a gathering at The Apple Tree at 3pm today (Saturday) for her

Request.

Has anyone got an hour or so to open the bin and spread some of the lovely compost onto the garden beds at the apple tree. (You’re also welcome to use in your own garden if you like)

If you live close to the Apple Tree, its the perfect time to pitch in.
