Dear Families of 2026 Reception Students,
As 2026 fast approaches, we are filled with excitement at the thought of welcoming new faces to our school community. Whether your child is joining us at the beginning of Term 1 or as part of the mid-year intake in Term 3, we look forward to getting to know each of you and supporting your family through this important transition into school life.
We understand how significant this step is for your child and your family, and we are committed to making the transition as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Families of students starting in Term 1, 2026 will be notified later this term with details of transition visits to take place in Term 4 this year. For those with children starting in Term 3, information about transition visits scheduled for Term 2 next year will be sent out in Term 1, 2026.
This term, we’ve also had the pleasure of welcoming our new Principal, Heidi Rohrig, who joins us from Linden Park Primary School. We are incredibly fortunate to have someone of Heidi’s experience and expertise leading our school. With personal and family connections to the Norton Summit area, Heidi is excited to be part of what makes our community so special, and is already making a wonderful impact.
