🛝Not one, but two new playgrounds to visit this long weekend.

💚Check out Andrew Crescent Reserve in Worrigee (the green slides) which has two connected tower units for climbing, crawling and sliding. We're talking spiral and commando tube and a path for learning to ride.

🫐 McDonald Parade Reserve in Burrill Lake (blue slides) is also benefiting from brand-new play equipment with rope ladders, swings, sensory panel and music chime. It's also right on the lake so a lovely spot for a picnic. 🧺

🍎Our staff stepped back in time today - back to high school to share their career stories.

👷‍♀️We joined Ulladulla High's Career Day and loved talking to the students about all the cool job opportunities we have at Council.

It was a great chance to inspire the next generation and answer plenty of questions along the way.

🙏Thanks for having us High School

🌊With rain forecast, an excavator is on its way to Lake Conjola to open the lake to the sea.

Work to dig a channel is being timed with the high tide and to ensure crews can safely finish the job before dark.

While every effort is being made to ensure a successful opening, conditions like high tides and the weather could see the lake close again.

🚧Please stay outside the work area and keep away from the edges of the channel and banks as these areas can be very unstable and unsafe.
