🏃‍♂️🚴🏻‍♀️ I know just how important footpaths and cycleways are to connect our towns and villages, so I was pleased to speak in parliament and second the motion about the additional $500 million in new federal funding for the Active Transport Fund.
The funding will support the construction of new and upgraded walking and cycling infrastructure in communities across the country, including here on the South Coast.

In Parliament this week, I was really proud to stand up and highlight the great initiatives and inspiring people helping students of all ages complete their degrees at the Southern Shoalhaven Country Universities Centre at Ulladulla.

💁‍♀️🚤 I always get lots of questions about boat ramps. If you're in the Shoalhaven, here's a great chance to have your say on what you'd like to see with local boating infrastructure.
From this feedback, Council will work with key State Government stakeholders to finalise a long-term strategic approach to managing waterways infrastructure.
🗓️⏰The survey will be open until 5pm 17 July 2026.

We’re inviting you to have your say on the future management of more than 60 public boat launching facilities and numerous mooring structures across the Shoalhaven, including boat ramps, wharves, jetties and pontoons. Council is developing the Shoalhaven Boating

Start warming up for the first Coastrek fundraising challenge along the magnificent, newly completed Munjip Trail at Batemans Bay on August 14!
You can choose your own adventure with 20km or 30km hikes from Corrigans Beach or Malua Bay through Surf Beach to Batemans Bay, journeying along the spectacular trail.
This is an amazing opportunity to get a group of friends together and raise funds for Beyond Blue, while taking in the breathtaking coastal views.
I'm really proud to have supported the construction of the Munjip Trail with $5.25 million from the Australian and NSW Government’s Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund.
