The Nyah District & Community Swimming Pool is deeply saddened by the passing of Rodney. He was a tireless volunteer at the pool for many years, dedicating his time as our maintenance man and committee member. Rodney ensured the pool was a welcoming and enjoyable place for all during the summer months. We will miss his stories, his kindness and his presence in our community. We extend our deepest sympathies to his family.
Funeral Details
A memorial service to commemorate
the life of Rodney Cant will be held at Taverna Funerals Serenity Chapel (168 Curlewis Street, Swan Hill) on Tuesday April 21, 2026 commencing at 2.00 pm
The burial will be held prior to the service
At 11.00am at the Nyah district cemetery

The pool is now closed for this season. We hope that you have enjoyed spending time at the Nyah Pool to 🏊🏼‍♀️🏊🏼‍♂️cool off, exercise or as a place to catch up with family and friends.
Thank you to all our wonderful life guards🛟🟡🔴 for keeping everyone safe and our amazing group of volunteers who help out in lots of different ways.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back in November!

*Morning Swimming 6-9am Mon, Wed, Fri
* Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat & Sun open 3-7pm (weather permitting).
Come along and enjoy a swim 🏊🏻 before the pool closes for the season.
