Parcel Collection 📦📦📦

As you may have seen, we have been busily working through the backlog of parcels which are now making it through to Nyngan from our larger mail centres.

We are trying our best to get parcels to you but with more coming each day and only so many hours in the day, we have some parcels from the weekend drop now available for collection at the post office directly for what would normally be street delivery.

If your parcel is scanned as ‘awaiting collection’ at the post office, please call down between business hours to collect!

Good morning all

Australia Post is experiencing the same outage as yesterday so we are currently offline with our terminals.

Unfortunately this means we can’t process any transactions this morning at this stage and will advise once we have systems restored.

🎅🎅Christmas is coming 🎅🎅

As we start to gear up for the busiest time of year, here are some helpful hints to ensure that we can serve you, and others, as quickly and smoothly as possible!

🎄Ensure your parcels are correctly addressed so we can deliver them promptly.

🎄Be mindful that there will be large volumes of parcels so it may take Jerry and his team a bit longer than usual to get to your house each day so please give them time.

🎄Try to check your app or tracking to get an update on your parcel as a first resort to avoid waiting in line or on hold if we are serving other customers. If you have no luck we are more than happy to help!

🎄If you have a PO Box please try to remember your key- this will save you time waiting in a line for us to check it for you if we are a bit busier. If you have misplaced your key we can certainly arrange you a new one- just ask us!

🎄If you are sending parcels, please try to have as much information as you can handy to ensure that we can serve you as efficiently as possible, including knowing if you need express, registered, regular etc. You should also consider the value of what you are sending to consider if you need insurance as well.

🎄If you are using your own packaging- try to have it packaged and addressed when you arrive.

Hi All

Just a friendly reminder re couriers and other mail services.

Unfortunately, if you hold a PO Box or are on an out of town run, you cannot address mail to your PO Box or the post office for us to hold and deliver if it does not come by StarTrack or Australia Post. We are contractually not allowed to accept mail on your behalf from other courier or mail services so please try to arrange for another address to avoid us having to tell the driver no.

Friendly reminder of the public holiday on 7 Oct 2024.

Please note there will be no mail or parcel services on this day and the shop will be closed.

If you have any bills, green slips, insurances or require banking- please make arrangements to call in today or tomorrow!

We will reopen Tuesday morning as normal.

Due to a meter change, which has just been confirmed, we will have no power for approxmately 30 minutes from 1pm today. We can still process your mail collections during this time but cannot operate the main counter.
