Fish River, overlooking the Rural Conservation
Area. The school enjoys strong parent support
and has an active P&C. O’Connell School is a
member of the Bathurst Small Schools Alliance
involving 11 small P5 and P6 schools. The Alliance is committed to collaboratively lead, implement, monitor and report on shared professional learning. We also organise combined sporting events and stage excursions.

Wild animals, dancing, cycling, painting. The day is coming to an end as we sit by the fire and listen to the lions roar!! All kids happy and accounted for!

Today, we had a visit from an Australian icon—Healthy Harold! I was lucky enough to join our Year 2/3/4 class for a fun (and nostalgic) session. Together, we explored how our bodies work, the power of healthy foods and nutrients, and the amazing ways our heart and lungs keep us thriving!
