Releasing the butterflies was a memorable conclusion to a wonderful learning experience

In Science this term, we have been investigating life cycles and how animals change through metamorphosis. Students enjoyed a hands-on experience with their own butterfly chrysalis kits, closely observing the incredible transformation from chrysalis to butterfly. Once the butterflies had emerged and strengthened, we released them.
