Nunawading Highway Patrol are appealing for dashcam vision as they continue to investigate a multi-car collision where a car became airborne in Mount Waverly last month.

Police believe motorists in the area at the time may have captured the vision on their dashcam.

The collision was in the afternoon of Wednesday 6 May about 2.35pm.

A grey Honda Accord sedan, believed driving in convoy with a grey Hyundai hatchback, was spotted driving erratically inbound on the Monash Fwy, on approach to the Huntingdale Rd off-ramp just prior the collision.

The allegedly stolen Honda is believed to have been driving at excessive speeds when it took the exit ramp, became airborne over Huntingdale Road, and landed on an embankment on the other side of the freeway.

Two teenagers from the Honda were hospitalised at the time and the passenger from the Honda and driver of the Hyundai have since been charged.

Anyone with dashcam, or motorists who may have witnessed the manner of driving is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit an online confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
