SafeWork NSW - Small Business Rebate Program 🦺

Small businesses across NSW have the opportunity to strengthen their workplace health and safety practices through the Small Business Rebate Program: https://www.nsw.gov.au/grants-and-funding/1000-safework-small-business-rebate

The initiative offers eligible small business owners up to $1,000 to help cover the cost of approved workplace health and safety items.

The program is designed to support businesses in making practical, proactive improvements that reduce the risk of serious injuries, illnesses and fatalities.

Rebate items must be selected from SafeWork NSW’s eligible items list, which includes items designed to eliminate or minimise high risk hazards in the workplace: https://www.nsw.gov.au/grants-and-funding/1000-safework-small-business-rebate/eligible-safety-items

Business owners must attend a qualifying SafeWork NSW educational event before claiming the rebate. SafeWork NSW offers free online seminars aimed at helping small businesses understand their safety obligations and adopt smarter, safer practices. Led by experienced SafeWork NSW Inspectors, these seminars provide information and practical guidance on managing work health and safety.

For small business owners balancing multiple demands, this program delivers a unique combination of free expert safety education and financial support for meaningful safety improvements.

Now is the ideal time for businesses to explore the support available and take positive steps toward creating safer, healthier workplaces across NSW.

Get up to $1,000 towards the cost of workplace health and safety items.
