💚 thank you to everyone who has supported our Myanmar Earthquake Appeal so far. Early reports are showing that people are in need of shelter, clean drinking water, mosquito nets and hygiene materials.

Before Friday's earthquake, millions of people were already uprooted from their homes after 4 years of conflict. Sagaing - the city nearest the epicentre - is home to 1.3 million displaced people.

Because of the scale of humanitarian need in Myanmar, we are focusing our efforts on supporting families there. We know this will be a complex response, but it's because of supporters like you that we have responded to challenging disasters in the past.

🌳 **Ocean Grove Rotary Club: Greening Our Community!** 🌿

We’re thrilled to share our recent environmental initiatives! With the help of our amazing volunteers, we planted 100 trees for 100 years of Rotary and now maintain the plantation. This helps to restore natural habitats and beautify our surroundings. 🌱

Our efforts didn't stop there—Queenscliff Cemetery, the Lookout Reserve and Ocean Grove Park have also benefited from our commitment to a greener future. These projects are part of our ongoing mission to protect and enhance our local environment for generations to come.

Recently we donated to a Rotary Club of Mount Martha project to fund a crucial project in Ingin village, Papua New Guinea . The installation of a water capture and storage system and the connection of three taps. This system ensures a reliable water supply, significantly improving access to clean water for the community.
