Enrol to vote - if you’re a Playford business or landowner living outside of the electorate, you need to enrol to vote.
Are you enrolled to vote in this year’s Council elections ? 🗳️
The 2026 Local Government Periodic Election will be held in November and provides an important opportunity for community members to have their say on the future of their local area.
Voters elect Council Members who make decisions about local services, facilities, programs and infrastructure that affect everyday life in our community. This includes matters such as roads, parks, libraries, community services, waste management and future planning.
Enrolling on the state electoral roll or your council’s voters roll, is the first step toward participating in your council elections.
If you are enrolled on the South Australian State Electoral Roll, you will automatically be included on the Council Voters Roll for your place of residence and will receive a voting pack by post in October.
If you have recently turned 18, changed your residential address or changed your name, make sure your details are updated by 5pm Friday 31 July 2026.
You may also be eligible to vote through Council’s Supplementary Roll if you own property, rent, run a business or represent an organisation within the City of Playford, but do not live in the area.
This can include:
🏠 non-resident property owners or landlords
🔑 non-resident tenants
🏢 business or organisation owners and occupiers
🌿 holiday home owners
👥 groups of owners or occupiers of a rateable property
Make sure you are enrolled so you can have your say in your community when voting opens.
