ADMIN SUPPORT ROLE — SMEATON GRANGE (SCHOOL HOURS)

We’re looking for the right human, not just a resume 😊

Our growing, neuro-affirming business is seeking an Admin Support Superstar to help bring calm to the chaos and support two busy (and wonderfully scattered!) neurodiverse female business owners.

Location: Smeaton Grange
Hours: 15–18 hours per week — school hours preferred
Environment: Neurodiverse, fast-paced, purpose-driven office

What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting daily admin across multiple projects and programs
• Completing forms and documentation with strong attention to detail
• Managing Word documents, spreadsheets, and tracking systems
• General organisation and follow-up tasks (the magic glue that keeps things moving!)
• Learning and using systems such as Splose and Heidi (training provided)

You’ll be a great fit if you:
• Have strong Excel and Word skills
• Love organisation, checklists, and getting things finished
• Notice the small details others miss
• Are comfortable working in a neurodiverse environment
• Can take direction from two creative thinkers juggling lots of ideas at once
• Are keen to learn new systems and grow with a small business

Bonus points for:
• NDIS or allied health admin experience
• Initiative and problem-solving skills
• A good sense of humour and flexibility

This role would suit someone who enjoys meaningful work, variety, and helping passionate people turn ideas into action.

📩 Please send a short introduction about yourself and your experience to: [email protected]

We value kindness, curiosity, and people who see possibilities — not perfection.

Some days it feels like I’m holding a thousand spinning plates.

Different kids. Different needs.
School expectations that don’t quite fit.
After-school activities that matter, but take everything to get to.
Running a business.
Trying to be present.
Trying to remember I’m a human too.

And the hardest part?

Once you see it... once you truly see what your kids need, how systems don’t flex, how much invisible labour you’re carrying.... you can’t unsee it.

You can’t just “go back” to juggling the old way.

So you reshuffle. Again.
You drop what no longer fits.
You grieve what should have been easier.
You try to rebuild something that works for this season, this family, this nervous system.

It’s messy.
It’s exhausting.
And it’s also deeply intentional.

If you’re in that constant re-juggling phase - we see you.
You’re not failing.
You’re adapting.

The early mornings, transitions, noise, expectations and social demands can be a lot — especially after a break. For our kids, regulation doesn’t just “happen”, it needs support.

We use the doTERRA kids blends as part of our daily rhythm, not to fix feelings, but to support regulation. A grounding blend in the morning before school, something calming in the afternoon when everyone is wrung out, and a focus blend during homework or transitions. It’s become a familiar sensory cue for their bodies that they’re safe and supported.

Brave for confidence, Steady for grounding, Thinker for focus, Tamer and Rescuer when emotions run high, and Stronger as part of our routine. Small tools, layered in gently, alongside connection, routine and co-regulation.

If you’re navigating the return to school with kids who feel things deeply, you’re not alone. Supporting their nervous system first has made a big difference for us.

Happy to chat if you’re curious about how we use them in a real, everyday way.

We ducked into Officeworks just now… and wow 😵‍💫 Total sensory nightmare.

Parents everywhere.
Kids everywhere.
Empty boxes.
Noise.
Chaos.

Who’s READY for the kids to go back to school? 🙋‍♀️
And who is still absolutely chasing their tail trying to get everything sorted? 🐕💨

(No judgement — we see you 💛)

Late-diagnosed ADHD and autistic mums don’t fall apart out of nowhere.

Motherhood slowly strips away the routines, space, and sense of control we were using to cope — often without even realising it.

Then you add:
• constant noise
• constant touch
• emotional labour
• zero real recovery

And eventually the nervous system taps out and says:
“I can’t do this anymore.”

This isn’t failure.
It’s burnout.
It’s biology.
It’s a system that asked too much for too long.

If this is you — you’re not broken, dramatic, or weak.
You’re exhausted. And you make sense. 💛

Includus was well known for its small group community based programs, ONT is excited to be bringing these back.

Children are able to participate in small neuroaffirming group activities, developing friendships and skill building.

Back to school shopping isn’t “exciting” for everyone.

For some families, it’s crowded shops, loud music, scratchy uniforms, confusing lists, and a lot of decisions all at once.
For some kids, it’s sensory overload, anxiety about change, and pressure to “be ready” when their nervous system just… isn’t yet.

If back-to-school shopping feels overwhelming in your house, you’re not failing.
You’re responding to real needs.

✨ It’s okay to shop online
✨ It’s okay to do it in tiny chunks
✨ It’s okay if the uniform isn’t perfect
✨ It’s okay if your child needs breaks, headphones, or to leave early
✨ It’s okay if you feel exhausted by it all

Preparation doesn’t have to look tidy or Instagram-ready.
It just has to feel safe enough for your family.

Be gentle. School will come. Regulation comes first. 💛
