As we wrap up another great summer season, we just want to say a big thank you to everyone who came down and made it what it was.
Please note the pool will be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week.
We’ll be back open for one final weekend Saturday and Sunday for a last hoorah before the season officially ends.
Come down, enjoy it, and finish the season the right way.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Ouyen pool will not be opening today. We apologise for any inconveniences and will be back open tomorrow from 2pm.

Due to the severe weather over the past few days, our outdoor sites have experienced significant general mess and some water damage.
As a result, we have made the decision not to open our Merbein, Red Cliffs, and Ouyen sites today. This will allow our staff time to focus on site clean-up and the presentation of our pools and surrounding areas to ensure they are safe and ready for use.
We are aiming to reopen tomorrow during our regular operating hours.

We had our local team ready to go today, but with more wet (and wild) weather forecast this afternoon, we’ll be closing today ahead of the worst of it.

Ouyen Pool Closed - 23 February 2026

We're very sorry to say that unfortunately the pool will be remaining closed today due to a change in the availability of one of our team members.

We understand this is frustrating given that we were also closed yesterday, however wish to share that yesterday was not due to availability, and that unfortunately one of our team member's cars broke down as they were getting ready to come to work.

Our team put a huge effort into keeping the gates open for our community as much as possible, committing a lot of time and effort to travelling to the pool to achieve this. Comments of support for those who are making this effort are appreciated ❤

We are genuinely doing our best to keep the gates open everyday, especially for our important school's program and are pleased to say that thanks to everyone's efforts, this has been able to run all season for students 🏊‍♀️🏊🏊‍♂️

We are also working to support our paid season membership holders, with further details on this shared in our post from earlier today.

💙 Your pool needs you 💙

As a pool and community we have been impacted by the ongoing challenges faced in securing local lifeguards this season, and while we've gone to great lengths to keep the pool open, the most sustainable solution is finding more local people who can step up and help at the pool.

For our season membership holders, we're also committed to working with you to arrange appropriate refunds and adjustments in light of the recent closures we've experienced, and will contact you directly at the end of the season once the full extent can be fairly assessed for you.
