We’re fighting our first fire of the season in the USA.

Our expert crew of 10 is on the ground in Arizona fighting a 2000-acre wildfire due east of Phoenix.

The crew is operating two ‘Type 3 Wildland’ fire engines, each of which carries a 500-gallon water tank plus a foam capacity of 20 gallons.

It’s the second year we’ve successfully contracted with the US Forest Service to support its wildfire response, and we’re set to expand our fleet to meet increasing demand.

Six new, state-of-the-art, purpose-built trucks will arrive from Australia later this year to bring world-leading Aussie capability and experience to America.

This includes world-leading Crew Fire Protection Systems to fire-proof vehicles and create vital survival capsules for fire crew. Industry-leading compressed air foam systems will also be standard on these trucks.

It’s all part of the continued expansion of our public-private-partnership model in the USA, UK and Australia where we offer specialist equipment and training across land, sea and air to support emergency rescue and response.
