Just a friendly reminder šŸ¾šŸ’©

If you’re out walking your dog, please remember to pick up after them. It only takes a moment to bag it and bin it, and it helps keep our streets, parks and footpaths clean for everyone.

Responsible dog ownership starts with us. šŸ¶šŸ’š

EDIT. The owner managed to get the cat out and then it ran off so hopefully back to its house.

From Mel

I have someone’s black cat that’s stuck in between some bricks in our back yard.

I can’t get to him because he keeps hissing at me.
Can you please put a post up.

We are in Charles Sturt Place.

Wondering if anyone around Winneke Way / Sundew Cres had a Fitted Sheet wind up in their yard over the past couple of days?
A teal, Koo Queen fitted sheet flew off the clothes line on Tuesday, wondering if it ended up in a nearby backyard.
Thank you!

Question from a resident

Can someone explain how this new footpath crossing is going to work?

Looking at it, I’m struggling to see how people using wheelchairs, mobility scooters, prams, or even those with limited mobility will be able to safely move from the footpath onto the road. At the moment it doesn’t appear to have a kerb ramp or a gradual transition.

I’m assuming it’s still a work in progress, but if this is close to the finished design, it seems like it could be difficult—and potentially unsafe—for many people.

Does anyone know if there’s another stage of the project that will create an accessible crossing?

Hello.
I have just found these items dumped on Overland Rise.
I assume they are from a stolen bag of something. Can you please post an image on the page. Drink bottle has the name Julian Alexander on it.
Thanks, Trish

A Reminder About Noise and Respect for Our Neighbours

This has been raised a number of times now, so it’s worth another reminder.

Everyone has the right to enjoy their home, but that also comes with being considerate of the people living around us. Repeatedly playing loud music late into the evening or at night affects families with young children, shift workers, elderly residents, and anyone trying to get a good night’s sleep.

If you’re listening to music or entertaining, please keep the volume to a reasonable level, particularly at night. Under Victorian EPA noise regulations, unreasonable residential noise during prohibited hours can result in complaints being made.

Let’s all do our part to make our estate a respectful and enjoyable place to live. Being a good neighbour costs nothing, but it makes a big difference for everyone.
