🚧 Bagot Road footpath night works

Footpath upgrades will take place along Bagot Road to deliver a stronger, longer-lasting concrete path. Driveway connections will also be upgraded as part of the works.

Works will occur from Monday 15 June to Tuesday 30 June (8pm-5am).

There will be a footpath detour in place and lighting towers may be used to safely carry out works.

Road users, pedestrians and cyclists are asked to comply with all traffic/pedestrian management and signage in place.

Motorists are advised the southbound lane of the Stuart Highway at Warloch Ponds, south of Mataranka, is currently closed.

Closed roads:
⛔ Old South Road (Maryvale and Ghan Heritage Roads) from Deep Well Road to Aputula (Finke) Community.

Outside of the closures, these roads experience high volumes of traffic over the Finke Desert Race weekend. Motorists are reminded to be patient, slow down, maintain a safe distance, turn headlights on and always drive to conditions.
