Three cheers for Gunner Bear! 🎉🧸

Gunner Bear and his friends from the 8th/12th Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery have spent several weeks fundraising for the paediatric ward at Royal Darwin Hospital (RDH).

Today, the soldiers will push a 2.5 tonne M2A2 Howitzer Gun all the way from the Cenotaph at the Darwin Esplanade to RDH, with Gunner Bear riding shotgun, or artillery gun, to be precise!

Gunner Bear and the 8th/12th Regiment aim to raise $50,000 for new medical equipment to be used in the RDH paediatric ward. 💰

Gunner Bear fundraising has been run in the Territory since the mid-2000s with over $500,000 raised for sick Territory kids. 🏥

Gunner Bear has left the Parap Market and is moving towards the Jape Homemaker Centre ETA 1030!

We’ve currently raised over and $30, 000 for the Royal Darwin Hospital Children’s Ward!

Make sure to donate via our Facebook or get down to the Homemaker Centre or Casaurina and buy a raffle ticket in person towards a Paspaley Pearl Bracelet!

Gunner Bear Gun Push Day is this Saturday 21st of October! Members of the 8th/12th Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery, will be pushing an M2A2 gun through Darwin from the Cenotaph to the Royal Darwin Hospital.

Come support Gunner Bear and the 8th/12th Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery, to raise money for the Royal Darwin Hospital by making a donation through our page or at any of the locations listed below.

You’ve gotta be in it to win it! A pearl bracelet valued at $900 has been kindly donated by Paspaley Pearls Darwin. This will be raffled at the collection points below only on Gun Push Day and the winner will be announced on Monday 23rd October!

Have you seen Gunner Bear? 👀🧸

Gunner Bear has been travelling around Darwin helping his friends from the 8th/12th Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery to fundraise for the paediatric ward of Royal Darwin Hospital (RDH). 🏥

Over the last few weeks Gunner Bear has been spotted at the Waterfront, the CBD, and shopping centres and markets all over Darwin and Palmerston.

Gunner Bear and the soldiers 8th/12th Regiment are hoping to raise $50,000 for sick children at RDH. 💰

The fundraiser will end on Saturday 21 October with the soldiers pushing Gunner Bear on a 2.5 tonne M2A2 Howitzer Gun along the Stuart Highway from the Darwin Cenotaph to Royal Darwin Hospital.

NT Health thanks Gunner Bear and the 8th/12th Regiment for all their hard work to support the RDH paediatric ward.

The 2023 Gunner Bear Gun Push is raising money for the Royal Darwin Hospital Paediatric Ward! 🧸

Come support the 8th/12th regiment as they push a cannon from the War Memorial to Royal Darwin Hospital. The regiment will be stopping through the Jape Homemaker Village carpark this Saturday, October 21st to conduct a team changeover and they would love your support. 🤩

The cannon is estimated to arrive around 10.45am, but spend your Saturday morning at the village so you don’t miss out! ✨

Defence personnel will be at the Village from 9am, in front of BCF to raise funds. If you would like to donate to this wonderful cause, you can drop by and make donations on the day or by using the link below. 👏🏼
